I have a GSR trans im dropping in a 95 civic. Is the shift linkage the same as the factory one in the 95 civic?

You have gsr b16 or ls motor this is going on as well correct? Shift linkage will be form a 94-01 integra or hasport/innovative sell their own linkages as well.

hope so...if not, this swap won't work at all unless you have a special trans adaptor. the d-series shift linkage won't work on a b-series trans.

The D series linkage will work if you CUT it and reweld it. I believe you have to take out 1 inch from both pieces.

dont do what he says^^^^^ buy a linkage from a del sol vtec model, or from a 94-01 gsr/ls

It can be from any '94 - '01 Integra or '99 - '00 Civic Si

Del Sol VTEC linkage wont work, its too long.

umm i dont think its too long i kno some1 that used it on a hatch, so if it worked for a hatch it should work for a coupe

The del sol linkage IS too long. I know this because when the GSR tranny is mounted the delsol linkage surpasses the shift fork by 2 inches. You are better off picking one up from a reputable dealer or doing some searching on craigslist. For what 94EG8 said for car models. I will say that b series linkages are getting harder to find though.

No, your wrong hes right. It would have to be modifed to fit, thats the only way.

do you have to bring your own jack to pull it and tools to pull it?

Decent junk yards have to cars jacked up already so you can slide under neath. Bring 10,12 and 14 mm sockets, 12mm wrench and a hammer and dowel pin remover to get the job done

ok for the dowel pin remover can i use a 1/4 inch punch
