im leaning more towards your rotors being bad, even if u have new pads, if you or whoever didnt resurface the rotors then the pads wouldnt sit right and u will see problems such as vibration, also if your rear brakes were adjusted to tight u will also see vibrations.

If it's a hard pulsation type shake, then it's probably the brakes. Like he said, if you didn't replace or resurface the rotors, then that could definetely be the issue.
if it were the motor mount it would probably be just one big clunk, not a continuing vibration when stopping.

Re: (guttedEF)
Sounds like your rotors are warpped. Get them resurfaced at a machine shop and that will make them flat again.
You should replace or resurface your rotors everytime you replace the pads.

Re: (jjspec)
As stated above, hit the brakes and car shakes, you have rotor problems. New pads or not. If you have one or know someone who has a brake micrometer then mic them for their measurement and compare to the service limit. If they can be resurfaced, get er done. If not then replacements aren't that much of strain on the wallet.
