i cannot seem to find where the wiring goes or starts....

my car originally 98 civic lx 1.6l y7 non vtec....

now i have EX head and ECU, with Harness and cant find where secondary plug is at on harness? someone take a pic plz?

i do have 2 sensors under intake manifold that dont go anywhere, i know one is for knock sensor which i bypassed and the other sensor looks exactly like the o2 sensor on primary but instead of III it looks like I-I-I ....

the dashes inbetween the I's representing solid area and wont hook up

The secondary O2 sensor connector drops through a hole in the body above the catalytic converter.

Here's a picture, with the converter removed. I took a picture of the trans tunnel, and realized I caught the hole where the secondary o2 sensor comes out. There was a blue rubberized plug that seals the connector to the hole in the floorpan. Pull it down a few inches, and the connector will hang out just enough to unplug it, like you see in the picture.

You'll have to extend your secondary O2 to meet the new location on the catalytic converter

I have the chasis of a 98 civic lx, that's not on my car, the lx harness that I had had the secondary next to the primary on the ex harness I now have I can't find the the connector

The ex harness locates the secondary plug inside the cabin near the shifter. You'll have to manually wire in the second O2 sensor.

Ok so its on the cabin harness not the harness that goes under the hood? Where do I splice? Got a diagram for the pin slots on ecu?

what harness are u running on the car? u shouldn't need to do any splicing its either there or its not? if not and u have a dx harness u need to just cut the wireloom open some and extend the wires to the back. if u bought a ex engine harness and have a dx car ur better off finding a dx harness and just wiring vtec. o2 sensors have shielded wires and u would have to use one if u do this.

I have a ex wire harness the one that runs thru fire wall and into engine bay, now what part of harness is the secondary plug?

It's part of the floor harness.

So I have to manually wire? No Aftermarket hookup I can buy? If I do have to manually do it, what gauge wire do I need and about how much length?

hey i still have my y7 harness, can i just take the secondary o2 sensor wire setup, unwrap the harness to get it loose, depin it from the connector then pin it back into y8 ecu?

Awesome! I needed that pic. :D Now, my question is, how large is that hole? I have a hole in approximately the same place in my 93 Del Sol (that was before Honda added a secondary O2 sensor). I just need to know if I have to drill that hole bigger to drop the connector through.

Car is K-swapped so my connectors may be too big for the default sized hole. And that's where my primary O2 sensor is located (not secondary).

is that hole on the dx chasis i need to run my o2 wire eather under the car or thru the firewall and out that hole
