Rough Idle? Bounces from 1,000 rpm to 1,500 rpm constantly?

Rough Idle? Bounces from 1,000 rpm to 1,500 rpm constantly?
I have got this problem for over 2 days and cant figure out whats wrong. I thought it was my throttle cable being too tight...but no matter how loose or how tight. It just idles @ 1,000 rpm and bounces to 1,500... CONSTANTLY. Dam its annoying!

Check all the vaccum lines. Mine did that one time because my cruise vaccum line came off the manifold.

bad ecu or vacuum leak. my friends del sol VTEC (p30 ecu) did that **** all the time he hated it. his problem was the ecu.

I dont have any cels throwing @ me...so that means that it cant be either of the FITV or the IACV?

my IACV code came on when i did a CEL search but it never came on when the car was running. so if your CEL isnt on while ur driving doesnt mean that u arent throwing a code

What is the setup? Had you done some prior mods/maintenance and then this popped up?

tps voltage? mine was a little of and my car was idling funny. i found the link on here from using the search, or maybe it was in the FAQ thread. Easy and quick fix

This problem only occurs "sometimes"...well most of the time...but sometimes it just idles fine @ 1,000 rpm.

Is this only at start up or is all the time?
I posted this a while back, it might help. I just had to re-adjust this thing again. When I went to the Prothane motor mounts the car vibrates more and I guess makes the plunger back out. Here's the link...
