as far as "fit" what do you mean- you'll have to roll the fenders, and adjust that camber a bit, and depending on the offset might need a spacer/ext wheel studs.

I came into a deal for some 16x9 +30 rims. when put on noticed the inside of the rim was pressed up against the trailing arms- 5mm spacer helped that- then had to go with extended wheel studs as well. Camber kit comes in soon- even at that, they didn't poke out as bad as it seems. this is on a em1 btw.

i can pm you pictures if you'd like.

They wont fit, not easily any way.

Those are really wide, and low offset, and 17's. PASS.

why do you need a 9" wide wheel?!

if you were to shrink your size both height and width, then you might be able to actually find wheels that can fit

You can run the +20, but come on, a 17x9?

You can low offset on these cars, but it will require quite a bit of negative camber, and fender rolling.

And that point, your ****ing up the car just to put these peice of **** wheels on it. Is it really worth it?

lmfao!! thats exactly what im saying .. what is the max offset and width i can go without having to roll my fenders or adjust the chamber and all that good stuff.?? i would like to get a 17x9 only cause they had the offset and look i wanted .. seems to me that the smaller the tire and rim the less agressive it looks.. i just want a rim that is gonna look like the ones in the link i posted .. i am planning on getting a 16x7.5 but cant find any with an offset i like

What? If you're looking for 16x9 (which I think is STILL stupid) why did you link to a 17" wheel?

17x9 +20 would look right on an EVO or something, but not a civic. You'd have a tough time making them work, and it would be hellanonfunctional. I put 16x8 +38 on my '99 and it looks very aggressive, and the wheels don't stick out past the fenders.

if you cant find the offset you like, go a little higher and just fine tune it with spacers.

There is absolutely nothing outrageous with a +20 offset.

There is everything outrageous with a 9" wide wheel on a gas sipping econo-box compact car.

Will it fit? Sure. Will it function? No.

You're basically asking whether or not a hot-dog will fit through the eye of a needle. Will it fit? Sure. But it won't be pretty.

P.S. And you can't have a delicious hot-dog with onion and spicy brown mustard afterward. At least not with any composure.

I’m looking at 15x7 +20 rota grids for my em1 and don’t want to roll the fenders or have a bunch of camber. Will it work with a 205/50 tire?

NOPE. You will need a +41mm 15x7 to fit as you have asked... no rolled fenders and proper camber.
