Right side headlight low beam won't work!!!
Hi all,
I search all through HT but find nothing therefore, I post this thread hopefully I can get some answer from the experts.
96 Honda Civic CX....The low beam on right side won't work but high beam work (its working before but haven't drive from months). I thought that maybe the bulb burnt out or dead therefore, I switch to the driver side and its working fine. I put the working bulb on driver to passenger side still not work. I switch couple times but not working. I check the wire harness that connect to the bulb were fine. There are 3 wires connect to the bulb, can anyone tell me which one is the low and which one is the high beam? Or how do you test the wires?
Thank you

If that fuse is blown, it will be blown for a reason. Sounds to me (if that fuse is blown) like the RH low beam power wire is grounding out. Check from the bulb harness back along the wiring for any obvious wiring problems, (rubbing through, previous repairs, or splices).
Invest (if you haven't already) in a manual that includes basic wiring diagrams.
These are the best source of all the answers you will ever look for when it comes to electrical problems. Learning to read them isn't as bad as everyone thinks.
Also, a 12V test light (circuit tester) is a good idea.

I checked thr fuses inside the car below the steering wheel. There's 2 red 10 in there that are for R and L low beam. The fuses seems to be fine. I did switch them around, and driver side still work but passenger won't come ON. In this case, the fuses still good. I guess must be the wires that's bad. But they are too tight and go behind the AC and the radaitor, I haven't check all the way to the driver side yet. I want to test the wires and see which one's not working. But I haven't done any testing yet. You guys know any place I can buy one and test. Pictures of the tester would be nice since I haven't use them so I don't know how they look...
Once again thank you all!!!

Re: Right side headlight low beam won't work!!!
I did a test and the lower beam does not work. I tried to follow back where its was blocking. However, the wires all were seal and protected. I decide not to bother its, I cute low beam wire and connect another from the driver side low beam to the right side. It's working now, also the fuse still good nothing burn. Therefore, I leave its that. Just wonder are there going to be any problem doing that? I done that to my EF and been drving for more than 2years nothing happen.

I have a new question (tried creating a post but couldn't) I recently put halo headlights on my 99 Honda accord and both the high beam and normal bulb blew out twice on the drivers side my question is can I lower the headlight fuse and fix this problem or do I need to put dampeners
