What do you mean you can't get the door pannel off. Did you remove all the screws. I have a 97 DX and my window will not roll all the way up because it is slightly off track. Not saying you don't know what you are doinng just need more info. Is the window keeping the pannel from coming off. Try opening the door and pulling the window all the way up maybe that will help you some.

thres 3 screws holding the speaker, 3 holding the panel to the door, 1 screw holding the window switch, 1 screw holding the handle piece. make sure the window is all the way down. then start pulling from the bottom to the top.

The manual is irreplacable.
But here goes:
1. Roll the window down
2. remove the panel covering the radio
3. remove the 3 screws holding the speaker in and remove the speaker
4. remove the 3 screws holding the door panel to the metal frame (just outside of the speaker)
5. Remove the screw holding the interior door handle surround and remove it
6. Remove the screw holding the handle thing on the armrest and remove it.
7. pop the clip holding the window roller handle off (I use forceps, but you can use a towel or anything that you can get behind it to knock it off).
8. Grab the panel and pull. As long as you have all the screws out of it , it should come out.
EDIT: I may have missed something. Im on 3 hours of sleep and at work right now. If anybody sees anything I missed, make sure to add it.

For manual windows you need to use a Window Handle Remover Tool this is what it looks like
The cover to the speaker should pop right off. Be careful to not break the plastic clips that hold it in.
