Default removing ac lines???help!!

I am doing another swap in my eg and was wondering how do i remove the ac lines from the compressor without getting freon everywhere(usually i just unbolt them rite off but thats too messy)..........is there a tool to discharge the freon from the lines????

use the service connectors (valves) at the top, and bleed them that way first. Still be careful when you undo it from the compressor though

so just use a flat head and press on the vavles?

yeah, that'll work fine. Freon is deadly so dont press all the way down on it, just let it "bleed" out

not sure but on most ac systems their should be 2 valves labeld H in red and L in blue you can use these to purge but is highly illegal and can be finned a very high amount if cought. or you can just crack open a line from the low side

yeah man, i doubt it would cost much to have a shop recover it for you, they might even pay you haha
