Rebuilding motor, what parts can i get from Autozone?? D16z6
Im rebuilding my d16z6 in my 93 5 speed coupe, im gonna do ls rods, crank scraper, block gaurd and so on, but what parts could i buy at a conventional auto parts store?

With all respect man, I wouldn't get critical engine parts from an auto parts store. If you're rebuilding it, get OEM Honda replacements. I bet even used OEM pieces are better than the no name or cheap name parts from an auto parts strore.
IMO, the only thing you can get at an auto parts strore should be things like fluids, RTV, coolant, etc...but as far as build pieces...go OEM Honda.

as far as parts, none. I wouldnt put anything back in that motor that isnt honda. Use all OEM gaskets ie: head gasket, IM, EXha. etc etc. You can probably get various greases and **** though.

well when i was going to do a rebuild i got alot of parts from there. id id learn my lesson and retuned all of them for oem parts. half the **** from autozone wa for a diff engine or dindt fit at all. the only thingi will buy at autozone is cleaners, and oil
