Re: rear view mirror and sun visors loose
Use a flat head with a towel (as to not scratch interior) use the flat head to pop the cover off the rear view. It's actually very easy. Just pop the cover off but make sure you're popping it off from the back because the clips hold it in the front. It's just two screws that hold the mirror. Just tighten them up and you should be good to go.
Sunvisors are held on by screws too.
Sounds confusing, just let me know if you need more help.

Re: rear view mirror and sun visors loose
^^Just to clarify. I was only talking about the cover and the screws. Mine was loose and I fixed it this way.
If it's the actual rearview mirror itself that's loose then I really don't know. Most cases the cover and tightening the 3 screws will fix it.
But of course taking it off and inspecting it will give you a better idea of what's going on. Then you can just go from there

But yes, the cover pops off with some prying just like it's shown in the picture you posted. Super easy to do. All it is is the 3 screws. But make sure again you're doing it from the back. Again posted in the picture above.
At first when I did this I made it more complicated than it seemed. Try it! you'll be like, "wth this was soo easy" lol

Re: rear view mirror and sun visors loose
thanks OneFire, but its the actual mirror thats loose. tightening the screws for both the mirror and sun visors didn't make a difference. its the actual thing thats loose. i think the only possible way is to get new ones.

Since you plan to replace the rear view mirror anyway, you might check whether it can be disassembled and tightened (after new one arrives). If you do, post some pictures!

Re: rear view mirror and sun visors loose
Hey guys, I just checked my mirror itself and it cannot be made tighter. The mirror itself is attached to the arm and they're spherically linked. I don't know the correct term lol. BUT you can probably use glue, epoxy or even locktite to set the mirror so it's not loose. It might only stay in one position but it's a good temp fix if you're the only one that drives your car.
