Default Quiet Muffler?

Hey guys I'm currently running itr replica headers to a 2.5" straightpipe all the way to a magnaflow tip. It is extremely loud as of right now, thinking of getting a new muffler came across a couple ideas (ES Oval/Apexi Ws2) Would a new muffler even make it quieter due to the straight pipe? Looking for something not too loud Any recommendations?

Anything would help thanks :]

es oval is a straight through muffler so it would still be a bit loud. try the mugen twin loop silencer muffler.

you should put a resonator in the middle or put you cat back on considering you are In ca and laws for no cat are crazy. not only that whats the point of running straight pipe.

i have a twin loop on my hatch and not only does it sound good, it doesnt really get loud until vtec....its just a nice crisp sound...i dont know about the twin loop replicas(the mugen is expensive) but im sure their just as quiet...i would aslo look into greddy sp2 or any greddy for that matter, they all seem to be pretty quiet

just put a stock axle back on to your staright pipe, its sounds low but sounds like a rattle muffler...

I bought my car with the apexi WS2 and it really sounds good but its not very loud, so I had straight pipe put there instead.

I was just thinking about going to a muffler shop and having a muffler made. I can get it done for around $40 w/ flanges. Any suggestions?
