Default question regarding about interchangability ( EM1 Springs )

I bought my car not too long ago, however the car
came with coilovers that are really low quality.
I assume these are either e-bay coilover or some crappy brand.

However, I was looking forward to switching out the coilover
for a good set up of strut/spring.

Its still on stock strut ( I believe prev-owner was quite dumb ),
and I do have a friend with 99' EX springs laying around, and
was wondering if its okay to put the spring on my car.

It is EM1, the Si model, however, after few pages of search on
Honda-Tech, i couldn't come up with definite answer of interchangability
or springs in between any civic trims in 96-00.

I do want aftermarket Spring/Strut combo, however the reason I want
to put the OEM springs on is due to the crappy coilovers not being
able to stay low even on either side of (rear, front, left, right) of car.
And I don't really want to drive on road with the set up its on.

Help, please.

hence why I asked the same question.
I always wondered about why it differed.

Anyhow, thx for the answers.
I hope to get few more answers to be sure on this question.

I plan to get Eibach or H&R springs with aftermarket struts.
