I feel really lame asking this, but I'm taking the door panels off my '93 hatch. It has manual windows -- how do the window cranks come off??

There should be a "C" shaped clip holding it on. I use a rag to pull it out. I push panel in and see which way its siting. Grab a rag on conners pulling it tight in the center. Then on the open end of clip, I slide the rag up. it should pop out. It sometimes takes a few trys. Hope this helps.

yea it's a c clip, it can be kinda difficult to get the bastard off at first....then once you get used to it you'll be able to take it off like nothing

Once I knew what I was looking for, I was able to get a small screwdriver on it. Popped it right off ... about 10 feet out into the grass. lol. The second one I shielded with my hand. Putting them back on was a poser until i figured out that you put the clips on then cranks first, then they snap on. Thanks for the help!
