Question about OBD-2 Diagnostic 16-pin plug???
I'm missing the OBD-2 Diagnostic plug (located under the dash near the hood latch area) that the smog station plugs in to smog the vehicle. I was wondering where the OBD-2 diagnostic plug connects on the underdash harness. Does it plug in along with the SRS wiring? If anyone could show me a picture of their obd-2 diagnostic plug and where it leads into underneath the dash that would be awesome. For some reason, I am missing that piece and was wondering if it was connected to my SRS wiring which I removed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
BTW my car is 99-00 Civic.

Doesn't really matter - you've got the schematic. Find ECU pin A21 and trace the wire to wherever it ends as it should end directly at the connector.

There is a direct connection FROM the ECU to the DLC. Now, if you don't see the DLC hanging around, then more than likely....

....this was incorrect.
Now, is there presently a wire in A21?

I did not cut any wire, but I did take out all the SRS related things such as the SRS computer and I took out the heater core. I'm assuming maybe it was attached to one of those. Those wires were just clips and I didn't have to cut anything. I'll go check if I could see the A21 wire. In the mean time, do you have any actual picture where I could look at other than a diagram? Let me know.

A schematic of how things are hooked up is useless?
Do you actually know how to troubleshoot a problem?
