putting 99 civic ex on jack stands

Can anyone tell me where to put my floor jack to jack up my 99 civic ex so I can put it on jack stands? The jacking points are too small to have the jack and a stand on them. I need to find a solid spot other than the jacking points.

you could jack the car up on the front hooks

yeah, jack it up from the front, once you have enough clearance, put the jack stands on both sides.
