Re: Project GreenGo: ALL Motor K24 midori ek buid
its all about the n/a love man !
maybe i missed it but what are you using for a tranny ?
a few all motor sr20 guys i know are going to be running par gearsets, they say this will help put more power to the ground with much better gears, and gear ratios.
im sure there is something similiar for k series trannys. ever consider that ?
also just out of curiosity, what kind of whp was your k20a putting down ?
stratton.

im using stock gears with type R LSD. i got rid of the type r 4-5-6 so essentially its a k20z1 trans with type r diff and case.
the k20a put down 220 on a dyno dynamics (reads low) and 260 on a pack so on a jet in between there.

Re: Project GreenGo: ALL Motor K24 midori ek buid
Lots of updates
Sold the bottom end, header, seats, Ctr wing, sway bars, subframe brace, and cams.
Norris is helping me out with a new motor. he is building me a new short block and I'm using his custom cams. If I can sell my 4 piston cnc head I'll be running his head also but my old will still make decent power so I'm not gonna give it away.
Ordered a 1.9 gal FCS fuel cell for the wiper fluid area.
New 2012 Hood Exit big tube ASP header on the way.
Block should be here in 4 weeks. In the meantime mucho weight reduction will be happening and fuel system change. Hoping to shed 200 lbs from the car and to the untrained eye have the car look the same.
Pulled the motor and took it apart yesterday. I sold the block to my friend and found him another ported head with valvetrain. He bought the cams also. Waiting on a new head gasket so it's sitting on the stand. Ill be putting it back together and it's going into his car next week. he has a sick clean ek so hes hoping to pick up where i left off with this motor.
Head off the motor
Motor on the stand with his new head on it nothing bolted down though like I said still waiting on the head gasket
Here's what my car looks like now on the inside lol. Header has to get shipped out Monday. 4 piston head in this pic

Re: Project GreenGo: ALL Motor K24 midori ek buid
Got some weight reduction and bay cleanup done today
iPhone focus fail
Fcs fuel cell and breather coming soon gonna get the fuel system all mocked up so I can measure for the lines. Jason at Suja 1 is making me all new -8 lines.
Next week im going to tackle taking the dash out. Not looking Foward to it haha.
Discovered my left rear caliper is seized. Wheel doesn't even spin. Might have something to do with my crappy mph with the 99 stroke. Fail

Great looking cars man, keep up the good work. Why did you decide to go with digital switches instead of manual switches?

Re: Project GreenGo: ALL Motor K24 midori ek buid
thank you
yes, i live in arkansas just over the arkansas/oklahoma border. im an hour or so from the shop.
Are you b or H? if H they make an adapter
more busy work. after i get this last bit of wiring out its finally time to start putting this thing back together. all the parts are on the way if i bust my *** i can get the shell completley ready soon so all i need is to drop in the motor when it comes and hit the dyno.
