Default Problems after tune up

97 dx

The bottom bolt on the fuel filter is stuck! tried almost a whole can of PB blaster and using a pipe around the wrench for leverage, nothing worked, would've bent the filter holder off the frame.

is an impact wrench the only option other than cutting the fuel line? worse yet i think i got air in the fuel line and so now it stalls out after starting it up after a few moments... other threads reference a valve on/near the fuel rail but i dont see anything like that how do i get the air out?

I hope you're turning it the correct way.

edit: does anybody know the size of that bolt with the philips head on it? I'd like to get that instead of using the current philips head. It can be stripped and stuck in there for ever so I rather switch mines out.

No, I'm referring to the rotor screw.

Not sure.

Update- my car was shutting off because of misfire (mixed up two spark plug ends). Mechanic said whoever put the fuel line in last cross threaded the bottom bolt so might as well leave it on otherwise need a whole new line... check engine light still on I think some air is left in the fuel line

CEL code was from misfire in 3rd cylinder from when the spark plug wires were wrong, car is running smooth other than that... Seems bottom bolt on fuel filter is stuck for good, two mechanics recommend leaving it on so its staying
