Default Powder Coating a Radiator?

I just bought an aluminum radiator...I was told that powder coating the radiator clear will help keep the shiny finish and make it easier to clean.

Anyone done it? Any problems?
TIA.

i would think that powder coating would keep heat in. you are adding to the surface and covering the aluminum thus keeping the heat in.
keep it natural.

You can powder coat the tanks/reservoirs, just not the fins. It will not really trap heat, but it will definitely not dissipate it as easily.
