Okay, so I'm pulling out of my driveway this morning and as I'm engaging the clutch into reverse, the gears grind (this usually happens when putting car into reverse unless i'm rolling ever so slightly backwards) except i can't put it fully into reverse cuz i'm embarassed bout the sound. So i give 'er anyways and it rockets backward and stalls. I restart the car and hit the gas and it's flying back down the driveway. Tried to put 'er in first to go forwards but the clutch pedal has no resistance. WTF?

what kind of clutch do you have? Check to make sure that you've got fluid in the lines (if its a hydro) or to see if the cable is still intact (if its a cable). My guess is if there's no pedal pressure then you've got no fluid or your cable is shot.

It's a luck clutch, that's as much as i know. It was just replaced a month ago. How do I check my lines for fluid and to see if the cable is shot.

Spoom? Damn newbies...

Anyway.

You need to bleed your clutch, either you have a slave or master clutch cylinder leak, or you just ran out of fluid. Use search to find out how to bleed clutch. Then check for leaks and replace anything nessesary.

what year is your car...sounds like a cable tranny and you broke the cable which probably means something else is in some kind of bind causing excessive force on the cable. If is a hydraulic tranny then you busted a line or like everyone else said ran out of fluid. Either way things are sucking for you...

I just had an exedy clutch in recently and found out i get no pressure after bleeding all the air out as a matter of fact i also noticed that the fluid wasn't going lower so i check the lines and connection points and no leakage thinking its clogged, to find out it was my master clutch cylinder (pump) that did not hold pressure so i replaced it for about $72 bucks at NAPA and worky fine now .. hope that helps

I have a Y1 cable tranny on my B16A...

if that stuff that they said about the lines and bleeding doesnt work, check your pressure plate. me and a friend just replaced a pressure plate in a b16 cause it wouldnt go into gear while driving and would rocket off when you started it.

Same thing happened to my car (hydro), had no fluid, so I filled the resovoir, pumped the clutch a bunch of times and added some more, could be the problem w/yours.
