Pedal not responding.
I have a '94 Del Sol SI with a JDM D15B Auto. OBD I, no engine codes.
The car starts, but the pedal does not respond with the throttle. Constant idle at low rpm's, no matter how far the pedal is depressed.
I can physically toggle the throttle on the engine block, and my engine revs, but not at the pedal.
When depressing the pedal, the throttle cable becomes loose at the engine.
After research I think it can be the throttle cable, throttle body, or tps. I have a digital multimeter and basic tools.
Help please.

Re: Pedal not responding.
Also after looking under the dash at the pedal and cables, when the pedal is depressed it looks as though only 1 of the 2 cables is moving. But nothing appears to be loose or missing.

Go to the throttle body... And move the butterfly... If it revs... Oviously the problem is in the cable.. Or the cable connection to the pedal.... Or the cable could be out of adjustment.. Or completely off butterfly track.... Good luck

Re: Pedal not responding.
Figured it out, the throttle cable from the pedeal was loose around the butterfly, not the pedal. Thanks for the help, made me go look again.
