IAC-Valve problem, Need help
Just got my car running, but now i have an issue. I have an Edelbrock Intake Manifold, & i found a coolant leak where the IACV meets the In.Manifold. The 2-Bolt holes are stripped-out. Which is also causing a HUGE vacuum-leak also
What should i do?
Use the next size bigger bolts & re-thread the holes?

No, however I don't run a/c or heat or stereo or anything because mine is raced out. I wouldn't do it if you were running a big stereo or anything that draws excessive power. The IACV just adjusts idle to accomodate(sp?) extra power usage. Otherwise the rpm's would drop a little when using power. The IACV eliminates this.
It may not be an option for you if it's just a grocery getter, but it is possible.
