P420 Fix?
i have a 98 ej and its throwing a p420 code. i replaced the o2 sensor but i have a high-flow cat. is there any way to bypass this code? i know im not the only person on here with an OBDII car with a high flow cat, so i refuse to put the stock cat back on.

Re: P420 Fix?
I went to this site only two weeks ago and the had simulators specifically for Honda engines. Now they don't, and only have universal ones, which I'm sure will work.

Re: P420 Fix?
I have a 1998 Honda Accord with 155,000 miles. The check engine light recently came on with the P0420 code. I replaced the rear sensor with a bosch and I replaced the cat (not an oem). I am still getting this stupid light coming back on every 45 minutes after I cut it off. Will this work for mine also, or is this another problem?

I am not 100% sure, you will have to look. But I think it splices into the O2 sensor wiring from the looks of it. Obviously htough you will have to splice it based on your ECU Diagram and not based on the one there for a Supra :X

Re: P420 Fix?
i've heard of people using those things for many years now. best i can figure is with the sensor further from the exhaust stream it reads less hydrocarbons and therefore prevents the catalyst efficiency code from being thrown.
