p28 Ecu problems please help
A couple months ago i bought a p28 ecu with a custom chip for my B16. (i have a 00 si btw) I plugged it into my car and as soon as i started it it kinda hesitated sputtered and started right away. Kinda seemed like it was fouling a plug on startup. A couple days later it threw a code faulty injectors. Then a couple days later my car was really hesitating when i would hit the gas and the car would jump as if i was stalling. So i took out the wire harness that came with it and i found out that theere were a couple pin connectors that were loose , so i thought maybe that was it. My tuner said it was probably a bad harness. So i just bought one from lighting motorsports and it started right up, but i let the car warm up then i shut it off. So a couple hours later now car is cooled down, i started it again and it still does the same thing it sputters on startup and rpms kinda idle up and down as if my IAC was bad, but, as soon as i plug in the stock b16 ecu it acts normal and everything is good. My questrion is does anyone know wats my problem??? If i convert from obd2 -obd1 do i just change my ecu and harness?? or do i hvae to change to obd1 injectors?? please performance gurus help!!
i just started it up again and it hasnt thrown any codes at all but my idle slowly rises and falls from 800-1700 rpm very slowly. But i have a brand new IAC like i mean 4 month old idle air control valve. Also im running Neptune and my mods consists on basic bolt ons no internals.
