P28 Datalogging.... possible through DLC Connector with stock chip?
Hoping someone can help answer a question for me.
I have a stock p28 honda obd1 ecu. I'm wanting to do a bit of datalogging before actually chipping the ecu and purchasing a rom burner. Does anyone know if it is possible to datalog with a stock chip using the dlc connector? I saw a small post about the connector on PGMFI.ORG but it doesnt say much. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks
Tek

Yes I was looking at using crome or uberdata. Not sure what kind of connection, I can't find much on how to connect through the stock dlc port but I know it can be done.
How did you chip your ecu, did you do it yourself? Where did you get the kit... just looking at all my options, but it seems moates.net is the best place I've seen so far.

i got my USB kit from xenocron.com
I chipped my ecu and use Crome. somone said somthing about hondata having more features???? i dont think so, from what i can see Crome has it all and Crome pro is jusst amazing. i also log off of the CN2 port. remember your chip needs to have a RTP and j12 needs to go, and remove checksum
