Default P1399 and P0135 Codes....

Car-1997 Honda Civic EX
Motor-97 USDM B18C1 (Used to be Turbo)
Mods-I/H/E and AEM Tru Time Cam Gears
Ignition-STI Spark Wires, NGK Plugs, OEM Rotor and Cap.(Cap has some damage due to friend)
ECU- OBD2a P72

Well heres the thing basically ever since I have had the swap the car has been spitting smoke through the valve cover intake hole were we a lot of people but the breathers on. It smells a lot like fuel. People say its my injectors, injector seals, too much pressure build up on the head, burning oil, bad mixture of air and fuel. I really dont know what it is but the car isnt as fast as its supposed to be. Its not running as strong as my previous GSR swap but I do feel and hear VTEC. Also the spark plugs wear out fairly quickly. I fixed all the misfires. And finally always there is some dark liquid build up around the intake manifold ports. Idle is from 1k-2.5k. Its not steady.

Now my codes are P0135 after my car caught a trash bag in the middle of the street and caught fire. Im not sure if this code is for the o2 sensor before or after the cat I rewired the wires from the cat to the cabin behind the center console.

Second code is P1399 which I have no clue. The code has been on for about 3 weeks. I hear like a farting or ticking or rattling sound when the gas is applied for the past 2 weeks. When I got this sound I had just gone through a pretty deep puddle since it was raining. I wasnt shifting hard all day or anything so I dont think it was a money shift. Ive read from bad valves to a basic misfire.

Please help guys im trying to make this car run perfect.

100% positive it is the right code. I believe its a manufacturer code. Now people are saying Im losing compression and I have bent atleast 1 or 2 valves.

Old post, I know, but I came across it when I was looking for a fix of the codes I just ran. P1399 for my 1997 Honda civic ex is a blocked EGR passage. Hope that helps if you haven't figured it out yet.

P1399 indicates multiple misfires. The damaged cap is the place to start.

P0135 - Is 7.5A dash fuse 15 blown?

after a search, i came right to this thread.
I have the same 2 codes.

P1399=manufacturer controlled ignition system or misfire
P0135=Bank 1/ Sensor 1 O2 sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

I just removed the breather chamber, cleaned it, and replaced the PCV valve.
I cleaned the intake and TB while it was off.
So i am thinking Dizzy? or fuel injector?

Also i noticed only 1 O2 sensor at the header. Attached to 4 feet of wire.
is there suposed to be another(2000 Civic EX)? OBD2 (a or b?) after the cat?

edit
i just found out that #4 and #2 are not getting spark...runs on 2 cyliders only...impressive
TD 73U dizzy may be the culprit.

I also noticed there is a wire running from the drivers side connector (tee'd off another wire) and goes to one of the dizzy wires

Any gurus have a clue for a fix on my new purchase?thanks in advance.

i was wrong about not getting spark, i took off the 2 and 4 plug wire and snapped in some plugs i got sitting around. they are both sparking, so i am wondering about the fuel injectors.
how many things can this code be related to? bent valves?
help please.
