Default p1298, p0135, p0141, p0302, p1399

Ok so back story I have a 98 civic EX, the other night I was sitting at a red light when I noticed that my car was starting to idle rough, now by rough I mean it sounded like the car was about to fall apart. When the light turned green I started to accelerate and I noticed smoke billowing out from under the hood and the temp gauge was completely on hot. Come to find out 2 of my fuel injectors were completely done and I also fried all my spark plugs. Now I have replaced the injectors, the fuel rail, all the plugs, the plug wires, and i'm still having the same problem. The problem is the car sounds like its bogging down and I'm dumpin fuel into my spark plug cavities so much so that the plugs and plug boots smell like gas and thats all you can smell when the car is cranked.. What is causing this? My next thought is could it be the fuel regulator? Anyone else have this happen?

hmm...try switching ECU's for ***** and giggles....and it could be a bad fuel regulator.

I wanted to switch out ecu's but the only one that I can find is a chipped p28 and its for a b18... Would that work on mine still with the obd conversion harness??

it'll work just to see if your car fires up and runs normal...if his is chipped he's more than likely just running a basemap...and p28 is obd1, so if you have an obd1 harness in your car then you can run his ECU

Did you reset the ECU, and none of the CEL codes returned?

Bought a 98 Accord that rear ended another car, and cut some wires in the Alternator area, repaired the wires, and everything was good ecept the check engine light came on immediatly, after every time we cleared it, right after starting.
Got Codes P1298, 0141, 0135 and P1399, thanks to a civic guy, he said check the dash fuses, and found a 15 amp blown fuse, from the cut and now repaired wire, replaced the fuse, and everything works great! no more codes, and all the misfires are gone, it was blue 15 amp fuse, hope this helps, for Civic, accords and other hondas
