Default Oxygen sensor replacement

So i believe my o2 sensor is the root of my problems- cel code41, I was wondering if i could get away with using the universal o2 sensor or if I had to buy the oem? here is a link to them at autozone the universal is half the price. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...entId=cat30067

So is it ok to use the universal o2 sensor?
Is there a better, cheaper place to get these?

Thank you

I just swapped mine out for basically the same one you are looking at from autozone. Works perfectly...so far.

I've been running the universal Bosch as my primary for like 4 years on two different engines with no problems.

In fact, I had pulled it out when I did my swap because my swap had an OEM O2 sensor... Lo and behold, a month later my stock O2 that came with the swap went bad and I had to throw the bosch back in. Haven't ever had a code with it, and $80 beats the hell out of $250.

I believe Honda uses mostly Denso sensors from the factory, but Bosch is good also.

assuming you cleared the code by pulling the 7.5amp fuse or neg bat. cable...

did you check the wires for the o2 sensor to confirm they weren't the problem in the first place?

Code 41 seems to be for the 02 heater circuit, which would include loose, cut or shorted wires.

yes i pulled the back up and the ecu fuse,

loose or shorted wires for the o2 sensor?

my car has a b16 swap and the problem showed up, after i soldered in the extra wires to the ecu. where can i get a pin out of which wire goes where?
