Ok guys need some fast help!!! Friends car broke down out of state
My friend is in Orlando this week and her 2002 Civic broke down. She was driving along and the car just died.
Its not over heating, no fluids are leaking, no check engine light and it has 1/4 tank of gas.
The car will start, stumble for a second then die again. You can floor the gas and the engine will not rev up or anything.
She had the car towed to a shop and they are saying that its a Crank Position Sensor and they want 300 bucks to fix it. But they can't get the part until Weds of next week. She is supposed to be coming home this Sunday.
I called honda and they want 89 for the sensor.
Anyone know where the CPS sensor on a civic and how hard it is to replace?
