Default oil leak from filter

okay i have been noticing i have a leak in my oil filter. once i noticed it i changed the oil filter because i was thinking that the gasket on the filter was messed up. but it still continues to leak. i even checked if the gasket from the previous oil filter was there but it wasn't.

any ideas?

check to make sure the oil filter has the oring...and also make sure that it doesn't have two orings...that happened to me once, the oring didn't come off when i took the filter off.

sounds like you messed up the threads possibly. oil pressure switch has tappered threads so...no seal.

i think he did a typo. there is no ph3596a. 6 is right above 3.

clean it all up and check to find where its coming from and report back with where and we will tell you how to fix. 123 go!

ignore the adapter for the oil feed. looks like that only without that oil line. its the sensor right above the filter. should have a wire attached to it tho.

if the threats are messed up you might get away with re-threading it. if not you going to need a new one, and possibly re-threading the block also.
