Default obd2 trans on obd1 civic(auto)??

i am about to do a trans job on a 93 civic and the transmission that the customer bought was an obd2 trans. i just want to know if the car will run fine if i put the obd2 trans on the car. keep in mind it is an auto trans.

doubt it. i think the 93 trans uses a kick-down cable and 96+ is electronic.

not 100% on this though as most d series stuff is beyond me. hopefully someone else can chime in here.....

Wont work at all. You need a '92 - '95 tranny.
