Default Obd2 to Obd1 Question...TPS/Injectors Related.

1997 Civic CX...

So my car is completly converted, runs, drives, everything. Just with the car off, key to run position to check codes there are none.

Start the car, it then throws a 7 TPS sensor code. Okay so I have my stock OBD2 injectors in, would that be the problem? Thats the only thing thats still OBD2. Running a stock P28.

Also it has really bad throttle response because of the TPS sensor.

If it's throwing the TPS code then something is wrong with the TPS inspect the sensor and wiring and replace or repair.

TPS has been switched. Wiring is fine. Only throws TPS code after the car starts.

Fixed, it was the OBD2 injectors.

Ok, how did the injectors cause the TPS code?? The resistance in the OBD1 and OBD2 injectors r the same.

it's possible that in replacing the injectors he may have "bumped" or wiggled w/e was throwing the code to the tps, causing it to fix it's self
