obd II 1362 TDC sensor circuit 1 no signal
Got this 97 Civic LX it has a d16y7 engine in it, I've had it bored, line honed alternator, water pump timing belt new seats and seals in the head, bearings and rings, pistons, motor mount, gas cap, muffler, fuel filter and plugs. Getting a 1362 code for TDC, I have disconnected the Crank speed delta sensor and got a second code, plugged it back in and it cleared but kept the 1362 code. I was able to clear the code and the lite stayed off for a while I let it idle and it cut off, I started it again and the check engine lite reset.
The car runs good from cold and you can drive it, turn on the AC, etc. then once it is warm it will just turn off. Depending on the mood of the car it will restart or you can wait a few seconds and it will start, sometimes it will start and run others it will bog and stall when you hit the brakes. I just had it idling and it shut off and it shuts off like snap it is off. if you keep it tached up sometimes it will still stall. It has not stalled at speed but will do so going into corners or stopping at lites.
So sorry for rambling, is there a TDC sensor 1 circuit on a D16Y7? I had the engine out, written on the flywheel in yellow metal crayon is 1998 civic. Is it because the car is a 97 lx that I have this sensor firering? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Julio
