Default no VTEC... HELP PLEASE

I just bought a Del Sol si with a JDM SiRII b16a swap.

The vtec won't kick in though.

The Check engine light codes out #8 (top dead centre sensor) and #41 (o2 sensor). Would #8 really prevent VTEC from kicking in??? I am pretty confident that #41 wouldn't really affect it.

someting is disconnected, google up vtec solenoid images and trace the wires.

Probably the Dizzy. Or since it is a swap after all, they might not of wired in the VTEC solenoid and if its running on OBD2 the CKF sensor might not have been hooked up.
