No start; ECU clicking?

No start; ECU clicking?
I just finished a one for one swap in my 96 civic dx and I'm trying to get it started. It won't. Turns over strong and all. I have yet to start diagnostics as I had to jet off to class jus now, but one question I had was is there a reason my ecu would be clicking intermittently? I turn the key and it clicks once or twice and then it will click intermittently after that. Ideas?
EDIT:
ECU clicking issue was solved after tightening down the Thermostat ground, as suggested by RONJ@HT.
The spark plugs were worn, so I swapped them out to new plugs.
With a friend adjusting the distributor while I turned over the car (twisting it clockwise, slowly), it fired up. I will have to time it today, but the issue was solved.

Re: No start; ECU clicking?
The clicking is probably from the main relay, which is to the right of the glove box.
If the fuel pump does not prime, check for blown fuses (44, 31, 13) and make sure the thermostat ground is clean and tight.
