Default NO spark...need assistance.

My ek hatch had an electrical fire under the dash--I replaced the wires and sodered them back together. Now it has no spark.

Replaced:
Coil
Plugs/Wires/Rotor
Distributor
Cap
Ignitor

Checked the voltage at the distributor= 12 volts; but not at the coil.
Switched the coil with a working coil, but still no spark....

Any ideas????

Check the wires inside the ecu, where theyre soldered onto their locations, sometimes those come undone.

ok so it my car where talking about. 96 hatch with a poor mans R, installed the motor, has fuel and cranks over, but no spark. Something went wrong and short to ground or something, so some of the wires fried up. Not really a big deal considering most of the wires were color matched, except these 4 blue ones and 3 white with a blue strip. They're all the same color and all 4 do different functions from what i saw in the haynes manual so now i'm kinda lost. I really don't want to buy a new harness for 370 bucks but if it comes down to it I will. The Dizzy has 12 volts going to it but the coil does not, so i swapped out the coil for one i knew that worked from my daily driver, and when i put it in the dizzy and in place, it still wouldnt get 12 volts. So its come down to being a wiring problem..I garentee it.....i just dont know which wires

they were soldered, and a different ecu is being used then the one that was in when it happened

Thats what i was sitting here thinking, that the wire colors were the same and could for sure have different functions. hmm....

If it were me...
1st, find a running car that has the same dizzy as yours, borrow it from ur friend and put it on to rule out that its not the dizzy (or put urs on there car)... Then, break out the multimeter and check the ignitor wire yellow/green for breaks all the way back to the ecu... Check ur car for trouble codes... check for 12volts switched power at the blk/yellow at the dizzy... If that all checks out perfect, check grounds, wire harness to thermostat, VC to chassis, tranny to chassis, exc... Then make sure ur fuel is working too, pressure, as well as inj fire is needed, not just to the rail, make sure ur combustion chamber has fuel in it... Im not as good with EK colors under the dash, but on a ef blue, and white/blu are for ignition, and some un needed heater functions... check fuses for issues, and see whatelse dosent work... like all buttons function right, headlights, radio, exc... do they all work??

I hope that covers it, report back

thanks for the help so far guys, only trouble codes the car gets is code 41...o2 sensor, so that wouldnt cause it from starting. All grounds are there, all fuses are in check, headlights do NOT come on, interior lights do, like the cluster and climate control. Car is getting fuel, the injectors are firing, fuel pressure goes to about 55 while cranking over the car
