No power - won't start after rolling backwards 3 feet
I have an automatic '99 Civic that I put in neutral rolled back about three feet on a hill, shut it off, then tried to start it an hour later and now it won't start. Nothing turns on on the dash, the dome light is very dim even after I switched out the battery. I can't get it out of gear either. I wanted to roll it back down the hill so it was out of the way but I can't get it too switch out of park, no matter how hard I pull on the shifter. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you just let it roll on the hill and the parking gear is holding then its gonna be tough to get out of gear. theres a parking pole in the tranny and when you dont use the ebrake then the wieght of the car is resting on it, get a bunch of people to push on it upward the hill and see if itll come out of gear, they do have shift locks too, but try gettin some people behind it first

Ground cable coming off battery was fried. Replaced now running back to normal. Thanks for the replies.
