No heat in car and fan not kicking on HELP
Hi! Quick question for you folks. I have a buddy with a 95 civic with a d15 I think. 100% stock, no mods. His radiator fan stop turning on, his heat stopped working, car sometimes overheats and his coolant is full and looks clean.
He already replaced the thermostat with a good working one. What else could it be? Would a bad fan cause no heat in the car? Also the overheating part is weird in conjunction with these problems.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Re: No heat in car and fan not kicking on HELP
The heater not working is the key to this problem.
I would check to see if the water pump is working. If the water pump quits it would lead to all the other symptoms. How many miles or kilometers does this car have on it?
If it is over 150,000, then he should change the timing belt and the water pump at the same time. I just bought one and It costs $178.00 here in Red Deer. The kit comes with everything including a new tensioner and idler pulley.
