no fuel or spark after tune up
i was working on my car and did a tune up. plugs wires cap and rotor. also changed the fuel filter. now there is no fuel going to the rail, i did put new washes on. and now there is no spark at the plugs... any suggestions.

your saying that you changed the fuel filter which only goes on one way and you have no fuel after changing it, and also your saying you changed the distributor cap and rotor which also only go on one way and your saying that after doing both of these that neither of them are working properly. did you let the pump prime a few times after changing the fuel filter, and just for the hell of it try banging on the lower left hand side of the dash while cranking it to just verify the pgmfi relay working properly

finally got fuel to the rail. now just done have spark. i have checked all relays and grounds. turns out the coil is out. checked the specks and have no voltage reading from this at all. i checked all the ohms and nothing. sorry been a long day. thanks for all the assistance.

qs on why coil went out
if by any chance you were cranking the engine with the spark plug wires out of the dizzy or engine, you can burn the coil out that way

dont just replace the coil, go out and buy a new or re-built distributor, its worth it for the hassle if your coil went bad chances are your icm went bad or will go bad as well, if you get a rebuilt dist at anywhere like orielys or autozone its about 250$ but it has a lifetime warranty
