i was thinking this
Pair OF 1999 2000 Honda CIVIC JDM Type R Style Black Headlight Headlamp EK9 | eBay
this one offers 60days money back. and its Prefect Fitment Is Guaranteed(too good to be true?)
i wish i could see the reviews of the 49 people who bought this.

or this

FOR 1999 2000 Honda CIVIC EK EX LX SI JDM Headlights Head Lamps Black | eBay

both have sold alot of pairs already and the reps are pretty good. anyone tried this before?

They have not sold because they are of good quality I can bet you that. These have sold because they are dirt cheap. Period. You're looking at a crap shoot in regards to fitment and/or integrity (ie; leaking, condensation).

Depo used to be a decent option but that was a while ago. You've been warned.

TYC, DORMAN .. check rockauto.com. I mean, OP asked for "next best", and these options are indeed next, but that doesn't mean the quality is anywhere near OEM. Still, for $40/ea, good enough if you're not picky.

I bought some brand (vision) off ebay, factory replacement for my wife's 01 CRV, fitment was excellent. I've had them on for a year, no leaking, fogging, or yellowing. They look amazing and for $75 for both you can't go wrong.

Consider Depo and Spyder

I've used both with good results

I'd rather kill myself than have headlights that looked like those.

Get moisture absorbing packs and toss them in there.

Nope, nos issues. It doesn't get that cold here but we do and have got in the teens this winter. It's also very humid in the summer with no issues after 1 year.
