New! :D
Hey guys, Newbie here.
I haven't done too much reading, but i've been looking around. I've pretty much got a POS civic, 92. Just looking to fix it up a bit, not a whole lot. I'm a Pizza Delivery driver, in marietta GA. Its a good little car, with the gas mileage, but i'm rather mechanically inclined, and I'd love to learn about my car. So if any of you have any information about anything in the car to increase gas mileage, and HP please any information would be awesome. And if anyone is local Gimme a yell! :D

thats your problem right there. theres tons of info to read. this isn't really where to post "hi, i'm new". make sure to read the faq, and forum rules before you get flamed for doing what you shouldn't. welcome to ht, and i'm sure you'll learn a thing or two from here

Well I dont really feel up to looking through every little detail so basically what i'm asking for is some one who knows by personal experience on any information available for boosting gas mileage. I've looked around. Not too much reading but it'll take a while, in which i'd rather it be easier just to be upfront and ask
But thanks for the welcome!! =]

Re: New! :D (Mencintaii)
if you're not swapping or gonna boost you're motor then don't even think of HP. As far as gas mileage is concerned, do a tune up(fuel filter, valve lash adjustment, spark plugs/wires, cap, rotor, correct psi in tires, don't drive with a lead foot). Don't expect a miracle, honda engineers didn't slack off so the average person could magically add a signifcant amount of horsepower/gas mileage with bolt ons.

what?
Welcome to H-t man, all i can say there is a ton of info on here, take advantage of it.
As far as increasing Hp, it's just too general of a question right now. We'd need to know your budget, na, boost, etc. In any case, have fun and enjoy being a member of honda-tech.
