Re: My New 95 Civic EG
not a bad start, i don't see any rust so that is a good thing. What are your plans
P.S. i was confused at first who the manufacturer was of the car, luckily you've already applied giant honda decals to the doors to eliminate further confusion.

Re: My New 95 Civic EG
Dam, Are those the new JDM Yellow Head Lights?
First, Change the light bulbs. and then a nice drop and a set of rims 15in to 16in and a paint job. after that window tint and hello nice Honda.
Oh, and change the corner lights for maybe some Yellow JDM's.

Re: My New 95 Civic EG
and my Friend you are the proud owner of an EJ1 not an EG....
I have owned my 1993 EJ1 since 2000. I have changed my mind and my style many times .
here is what i would recomend as a fellow EJ1 owner
Exterior
1. lose the honda sticker (its only gonna draw undue attention to you)
2. remove the tint and either go no tint or have it professionally redone
3. Headlights, personally I think the stock headlights aren't bright enough get some clear replacements and HID's like 4K so you dont burn the eyes out of everyone you approach.
4. Front Corner lights, get some solid amber corner lights, the clear is F&F era.
5. Suspension, I have rocked it all over the years but you cant go wrong with eibach drop springs and Koni yellows
6. Rims, alot of people have different opinions on this so this is mostly personal choice. I am running 17's but if I had it to do over again I would have stayed with 16's and more tire wall.
7. Carbon Fiber, I have a CF hood and yes its lighter but lets be serious you own a coupe and its heavy shedding 25 lbs of hood will do nothing for you. so keep that in mind.
8. Mirrors, do not buy "spoon" or "apc" mirrors you cant see **** out of them believe it or not you are supposed to use them.
Interior
1. unless your going full out show car DON'T paint your dash or accent pieces bright yellow or some god awful color
2. DO keep it clean nothing impresses people more than a clean car and a cleaner interior
3. Seats, authentic Recaro's JDM or otherwise are popular and comfortable but ebay knock offs that give the same look with 10% of the comfort are not acceptable, keep in mind you have to sit in these seats a lot will the fabric hold up?
4. Stereo system, I dont know how old you are but we've all gone thru the stage of a loud stereo, subs amps wires laying everywhere that you'll take care of "one day". that day never comes you end up shorting out something that cost money if your going to do it get it done right the first time.
5. steering wheels, I know this will bring up controversy but personally I think the whole momo hub and wheel craze looks horrible and for what gain? heaven forbid you wreck your civic and all that saves you in a front end collision is that wheel.
Engine
1. B-series B16, LS, GSR anything to give you some more umph the stock engine(N/A) is a joke.
2. dont get flashy here either more and more Honda enthusiasts are going shaved bays & a wire tuck, to give it that ultra clean look.
Exhaust
1. Apexi WS2 check out www.hondamarketplace.com and I'm sure one of the site sponsor's has a sale or something going on.
In conclusion it's really up to you its your car but hey you asked what we thought right?

Re: New 95 Civic EJ1
1.) your photography sucks, so I wouldn't waste time and picture-space putting huge "BLING BLING PHOTOGRAPHY!" tags on them.
2.) you say you don't plan on ricing the car out, but the first thing you did was slap huge stickers on the doors? Really? So it's okay to put gigantic "HONDA!" stickers on the doors (in case someone doesn't know the make of the vehicle or something?), but anything else would be rice, right?
3.) gutting a daily-driven car is retarded. So it removing AC or PS. You're not going to be tracking it often enough that it'll matter and, let's be honest, even if you did, it's a Civic and you're not going to be winning any classes.
4.) you have no taste and I hope you're sterile.
