Default In need of a switched source for HID's in 95 civic

when i got my car the previous owner had run the hid hot leads to the battery, but now that i have the battery n the trunk id like to run them to the under dash fuse box. i know there is a row of open ports and at least one of them is a switches source of power, id like to hook up to one of them but im not sure which. does anyone have a diagram of the fusebox and/or could tell me which ports i could use for switched power?

switched meaning constant power or only when the key is in the om position?

just hit each with a multimeter/test lite... if it lights up with the key off.. constant power... if not... hit the key.. if it lights up... its got juice with the key on

Did he have relays controlling them? He had to unless his lights stayed on all the time. Take the time to install relays and run the hots back to the battery so you don't fry something under your dash.

yes there are relays and fuses in line with both HID's... i just want to run them to the fuse box istead of all the way to the rear of the car. and if i run them to a switched source (key in the on position) i cant leave my lights on by accident

^^ True that... Use the headlight harness to trigger a relay with a wire run from the battery. Since the car is stripped, it won't be that hard to run a single 12 or 14 ga wire from the battery in the trunk...

it already is tapped into the headlight harness... how else would they turn on? lol i dont want to run them all the way to the back... my rear is stripped and id liek to have the elast amount of wires running there that i can. thats why i want to tap it off the fuse box
