Need some advice for my upcoming build for my coupe
Hey guys. im going to start a build for my coupe soon and i need some advices as to which parts are good and what to get. i drive a 99 ex, that has a B16a2 inside; but i have lots of problems with the motor so i think its about time my car deserves an upgrade. Im going to buy a sleeved gsr block bored out to a 2.0 and going to throw 10:1 compression pistons, arp head studs, ls crank, and some golden eagle rods in it. Im thinking of using my b16 head and throw in some valves, springs, retainers, and a set of ctr cams. Once thats done, im moving on to the bolt-ons ( IM, t.b, and 3'' piping), then a fuel rail with injectors, get a hondata s200, throw a turbo kit on and tune the **** out of it. My questions are should i use an ls or gsr crank? and what kind of injectors should i get? also, im kind of short on money so im planning on getting a cheap, no brand turbo kit and boost like 12 psi with it? the kit im going to buy is 1000 and comes with warranty, but im scared that those cheapshit turbo might blow on me. Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks. I plan to get the car done by may.

Cheap, reliable or fast. you can only have 2! no point in spending all this $ on the engine and skimp on the turbo.

totally agree... i would invest good money on N/A and do it good, your parts list seems to be very nice, and mess that up with a crappy turbo isnt the best option.... i would do everything u said and save the N/A....

My vote is save your money and fix your B16 back to a respectable state. I would try boosting your B16 and see if that makes you happy.
