I got my delslo together. There is a bracket where the power steering should go. Do i need the rack for power steering and all?? Also will an auto work??? How do i know if the car had power steering and the previous owner just removed it?

Any help would be appreciative, thank u folks.

i want power steering in my delsol ..... but there is no pump idk if that car just didnt come with one or the previous owner just removed it. how can i check ..... is there a way to know?? and do i need the rack and pinion from a car with power steering if mines didnt come with one??

Give more information about your Del Sol. Stock engine? Other mods?

stock 1.5 non vtec. looking for single cam vtec now.stock wheels stock height. nothng special but where it came from hella better now.

It's a super loght car I wouldnt be surprised if it didn't come with one. I don't think my project del sol has one. I have a b16 in mine n yea its super light n I can steer no problem with it stopped and off

My brother's prelude with power steering is more stiff than my manual steering Del Sol.

Not worth the trouble IMO. You'd need PS pump, reservoir, belt, lines, and PS rack. PS rack will have hard lines coming out of it, it's easy to spot. If you do have the PS rack then it'd be simple to throw the PS components back on. But again I'd put the money elsewhere!

very good thank you. next question. stock power mirrors and power locks. should i just rip the doors and sub harness of. would that be easier?? i like my creature comforts
