I have a 2000 Honda Civic si. When i drive normally, all the gears shift smoothly. Whenever i race the car or shift in high rpm's, only when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear it grinds badly, matter of fact it wont even go into 4th gear until i drop rpm's. Anybody now what this could be? Seems like a synchronizer problem. Anybody have some good documentation on how to fix this? Is this something i can do myself?

sounds like a synchro problem to me... or maybe you just cant shift haha jk

probably not something you want to take on yourself... but it is common for b-series trannies to have grinds in 3rd and 4th... but not bad enough to stop you from gettin into gear... you should really stop all that street racing
