Default Need help installing Viper Alarm/Remote Start system!

Alright, I bought a Viper 560XV Alarm/Remote Start system about 4 months ago and im just now getting around to putting it in. Im stuck on the first part of the wiring (wiring the heavy gauge wires). I have a Haynes Book for my car, so it has the wiring schematic for my car and i tried using that, but it is vague in places so I am still unsure if it is 100% correct.

Ok, There are 8 heavy gauge wires that have to hook up to the 5 wires coming from my ignition system.

This is what the diagram in my instructions booklet that came with the system says (these are the wires coming from the alarm/remote system):

Purple - (+) Starter output to starter (starter side)
Green - Starter input from ingnition (key side)
Red - (+) High current 12V input
Orange - (+) Output to accessory circuit
Pink - (+) Output to primary ignition circuit
Red - (+) (30A) High current 12V input
Pink/White - (+) Output to second ignition circuit
Red/White - (+) (30A) High current 12V input

These are the 5 wires coming out of my ignition:

White
Black/White
Black/Yellow
White/Black
Yellow

I am trying to figure out which wire from the alarm/remote system goes to which wire from my ignition. I have them in order the way I believe they should go, but i just have to be 100% sure on this one, obviously because i dont want to fry my car. I know how to do everything else and Ive installed alarm and remote systems on many cars, but this is my first civic and my first viper system and viper wont give me any wiring diagrams for my specific model because i am not a authorized dealer. Please help! Thanks!

Congratulations!! You just answered your question! Last time I checked, EVERY SINGLE USDM EM1 came with a manual transmission (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). It is not only foolish, but proves beyond a reason of a doubt that you HAVE NOT discovered the search button. FYI, it’s the only bold red button on the main H-T page.

I also highly suggest spending a ridiculous amount of time in the Audio/Security/Video forum. I do not want to read about how your EM1 was stolen...

Player 2, I asked a simple question. If you don't have an answer, then don't comment. I am new to this forum and I apologize if i posted this in the wrong section, but I'm pretty sure that this one time won't cause any harm. You should probably learn how to handle yourself a little better in situations like these. There is no reason to be that rude, when I did nothing to you.

o ya if its a manual car then i would HIGHLY SUGEST to NOT wire up the starter wire!!!!!!! you can wire up a starter kill but to tell you the truth a starter kill on a manual car is just stupid.LOL push starting a manual is to easy.LOL

by not hooking up the starter wire on the alarm system you would need to get into the car, start the car with the key then hold the brake pedal down and hit the remote start button on the alarms remote control. that will put the alarm system into STOP & GO FEATURE... which will let you remove the keys from the car and will keep the motor runing for ruffly 10-20mins or your set time to run. its a whole lot safer than hooking up the starter wire and posibly leaning against something with your keys in your pocket and also leaving the car in gear... if it trys to start it wont start BUT the torque from the starter will make the car JUMP forwards or backwards ruffly 5-10ft depending on the alarms crank time!

NOT GOOD... i myself hooked mine up fully BUT i was very diligent to always leave the car in nuetral. but even if your 99% sure you left it in nuetral theres always that 1%chance you left it in gear and it jumped forwards, either into a tree, parked car, off jackstands with you under the car, or just jump forwards into some people or kids. definatly not safe.

tho they do have manual safe remote starter systems now! that you must go thru a exact procedure to leave the car every time or your remote starter wont start by remote. now those are safe for manual cars!
