Default Need Help with 96 Civic Misfire

Alright guys I bought my first Honda today and I need a little help. It's a 96 Civic with a D16 engine and it's running very rough. The cel is on and it says misfire on cylinder one and two. I have replaced plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. I have also checked for vaccum leaks and found nothing. We swapped the injectors and that did nothing, but I did notice gas leaking around the o-rings (thinking it may be too much pressure?). It seems to be running very rich also. The O2 sensors look very new in the car (possible previous owner attempt to fix?). It will run and drive, but it feels bottled up. I thought possibly a bad cat. I pulled plugs one and two out and checked them after running/driving the car for an hour or so and they are both extremely black. Any body have any ideas what to do next?

Clean your EGR valve, EGR Chamber plate, and your IVAC. (if you have them, not sure if you do. I'm thinking the only civic to have an EGR is the HX) But try to clean your IAVC for sure.

What engine do you have, D16Y7, D16Y8, or D16Y5?

First off make sure the seals on the injectors were replaced. Leaky fuel no good. Those o rings are a pain to reuse and not a very good idea. Other wise i would check your ingniter pack in your dizzy and your coil. Either one could give you problems. If both check out I would take a look at your ecu. P.S. have you checked the timing AND looked at the crank and cam lines to make sure that the timing is on? How's the timing belt?
