Default my radiator fan stopped working

okay, i just finish a b16 swap into my 94 eg si and the fan doesnt spin!!! i made sure that the engine temp was good (temp idles like normal -- under the middle) but the fan wont turn on. i know its not the fan motor because i tested it out manually (plugging fan straight to the battery with 2 tester wires) and the fan still spins. now i looked at the plugs (1 is black/red -- positive and the other black --negative) and they dont seem to be damage in any way. my question is does this usually happens, what are the causes, and how can i fix it. i dont want to do the ghetto manual hookup thing. so please help

Fan switch is also known as as the ect switch, which is located on the thermostat housing (brown colored plug senses coolant temp) Does your lower rad hose get hot? If not then get a new thermostat also you have a Fan relay located in your engine fuse box, get a new one for $5 at the dealer. But if your not overheating then I wouldn't worry about it

how long did you wait for it to turn on? Wait till the buttom radiator hose is hot meaning the thermostat is open, then it will turn on like 5 mins after that depenting how big your radiator is. I have a GSR motor in my CX hatch with a double thickness radiator like the del sol si i think, i've tried to wait till it comes on but it takes a long time, i've been driving it like two months in AZ and the fan came on only twice, temp didn't move.

the thermostat is working because the lower hose is hot and hard...
i changed all 3 sensors (and yep the brown one was one of them)...
now for the fuse, ill go check...
which fuse number is it and is it in the car or under the hood

and on a side note, its not overheating, but i am concern because i do a lot of traveling (from home to college) so im thinking its in my best interest to get the fan working

i have a regular 92-95 civic si radaitor (bought it brand new from radiator.com and yes i shouldve bought the dual core radiator for the del sol but i didnt think of it at the time). anyways, i waited for about 10-20 min to where the temp in the car was idling at normal and the still didnt turn on. any more ideas..

wouldnt that hurt the motor...
i mean there has to be a cooling down process after driving the car and the fan is there to cool it down to a certain temp...
and without that process, wouldnt it hurt the motor because its still hot
