My horn doesn't work, what to do?

Default My horn doesn't work, what to do?

Any ideas on what to do? Thanks in advance.

Check to see that the connector underneath the steering wheel, you can access it by popping the cover off, is connected. Next check to see if the wires are connected to your horn and there is no corrosion on them. BTW the horn is usually located between the bumper and your rad on the right hand side.

Yeah, I can. I replaced the fuse also, but no luck.

Check the horn itself or the connection to it. Likely the horn burned out.

Check for 12v at the horn connector when a buddy hits the button.

BTW you'll have to pull the bumper cover off to get to the horn.

Will do. I'm thinking the horn burned out, so I'll replace that and see if it works or not. Thanks for the help.

if its on your 2000 Si have it fixed under warrenty. that is unless you have already out run you warrenty.

you might wanna check all of your fuses, im not sure about hondas, but i used to put in a lotta car stereos and if all of your fuses arent working, then sometimes they affect other electrical parts of the car..(ex in saturns, if the door chime fuse is blown, the raido wont work)
