Default my first honda

this is my first time building a car or even owning a honda.. always wanted to learn. got a lot of help from lots of people thanks to everyone.

heres what it looked like when i bought it about 5 years ago from the insurance auction for about a G.. it was sittin in the garage for a while. 30k on the chassis

rear shot

dash was pretty dirty

fairly clean otherwise

i shoulda took a picture before i took apart the front but.. my homey yong sold me his 99 si for super cheap

side view

rear

hella clean inside

missing cluster from thieves..

i wanted to use the power doors and windows so we took the harness from the si.. it was a pain in the *** but worth it in the end.. swapped the dash too, plus new ignition

heart transplant..

out

in

new fuel pump

new throttle cable

brand new innovative mounts

carbon fiber "whale *****" intake from pwjdm used from an HTer

70k on the motor.

bought ctr carpet off of ebay..

my homey john gave me this weighted sparco shift **** ^^

power door and windows from the si..

si cluster bought this one from ebay

not even a scratch! and lights up amber..

interior shot

put all the body panels on and then took off the exhaust and put the one from the si. its temporary.. lol

fixed the muffler problem

there was a problem with the tailgate.. holes were messed up from theft.

so had to get a different one.. and it didnt have a rear wiper which is good cuz my harness doesnt have a plug for it.

deals from my boy john! pop out dvd navi.. sick

alumapro subwoofer - this thing beats!

JL amp..

JDM CTR wing

ARC EK9 splitters

JDM CTR rear lip

my cousin got me JDM fogs!

5 lug from JDM 01 itr.

some clean 17" rsx wheels with new tires. the homey toons old wheels

slapped it on

Swapped out my SI cluster for an EK4 SIR one.

sanded

Taped up

Hella KDM.. lmao

The homey Joel doin what he doin like he doin it for TV!!

Got my axles finally after waiting a long time.. put my car back together so I can take her to emissions & get registered.. then it will be on to paint

freshly rebuilt ITR brake calipers.

brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, pedal assembly, all swapped from 2000 Civic SI to power the bigger ITR brake calipers & rear disc brakes.

had a little mis-hap. was driving on the freeway and the damn hood flipped open. sigh..

unbelievable commitment. keep it up man. i am thrilled to see that your first honda build was one that was difficult even to the guys who have had many honda builds.

good work. i can't wait to see the final outcome.

I am amazed at your first honda. You are doing many things to your first honda that many ppl. don't do ie( power door swap, wiring harness swap, motor swap, and carpet install.) I am excited to see your final product this could turn out to be one of the cleanest ek9's. I cannot wait to see this completed!!!
